Completing the end point equation for Office extensibility so that Office is everywhere 2. Creating a world class developer experience for our partners who will be building upon the Office platform 3. Delivering on “REAL APPS” that will contribute to the business (Global as well as China) while we work to identify and fill critical gaps with the Office platform 4. Responsibilities Evaluate customer requirements and plan releases Put together necessary documents, prototypes, and functional specifications in collaboration with other functional teams Define innovative user interfaces and interaction styles which result in improved user productivity, discoverability and simplicity Work across PM/Dev/Test/UX disciplines within Exchange as well as within partner teams in Redmond and Beijing Learn about competing products and be aware of industry trends Travel to Redmond 1-2 times/year Qualifications include 8+ years working experience in software development/testing or program management experience. Prior PM experience at Microsoft strongly preferred. Have gone through at least one complete product release cycle for large scale enterprise applications or complex web applications Fluent in English, both oral and written Strong communication skills and interpersonal awareness to work collaboratively with a diverse set of people across groups and organizational levels Excellent planning and organizational skills required Passion for customer focused innovation Be results driven. Strong problem solving skills and cross-group collaboration skills are desired In depth hands-on, working knowledge of Microsoft Server products, .NET, C++/C#, and AJAX is a plus BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline We have some tough problems to solve so if you like big, bold goals, like being part of a mature organization, like working alongside passionate, smart and fun individuals, come join the Office China team!
