Nowadays, neuromorphic computing, as a promising technology beyond Von-Neumann architecture is catching more and more attention of both academia and industrial. Intel Loihi is one of the most promising neuromorphic platforms, which provides capability to run full hardware SNN and programmable on-chip learning.
We are seeking an intern to work on neuromorphic research and engineering, to co-work with us on the research of Neuromorphic Computing based Loihi. Joining us, you will get a broad vision on this area, and opportunities to communicate with talented scientists and engineers from Loihi community.
In this job, what you will do:
Build demos on neuromorphic devices (e.g. DVS Cams) and processors
Get chances to propose your own neuromorphic proposal based on Loihi and make it work
Produce interesting and inspiring papers in this area
Requirements:
Programming skills with Python and C is a must
Basic signal processing knowledge is a must
Ability to search and read academic literatures is a must
Interested with neuromorphic computing
A minimum time contribution should be met
It’s encouraging if you are experienced with recurrent network or probability graph model
It’s encouraging if you are experienced or knowledgeable with computing neuroscience or SNN
